AY WHATUP!
I came across this vintage Jay-Z music video for the unreleased "I Can't Get With That" from 1994, produced by the OG Brooklyn native DJ Clark Kent. You can really see from comparing this to his more recent work how much he has changed up his rap style throughout his career. Since this vintage Jay-Z style, he has strayed from the quick rapid-fire flow he learned from Jaz-O, who brought him into the rap game. Enjoy this rare video, and examine Jay-Z's change in flow for yourself...

Joell Ortiz's Big Pun Tribute
Ay Whatup!
Here is a CRAZY track by Slaughterhouse's Joell Ortiz. Throughout his career, he has constantly been compared to Big Pun, being the next great fat latin rapper in line. So here he raps over a medley of Pun beats, including "Twinz," "Beware," "It's So Hard," "Just Blaze," "You Ain't A Killer," and few more classics. Don't hold me to this, as Pun is one of my favorite rappers of all time, but on a couple of these beats, Joell may give the man a run for his money. I'm embarrassed for saying that, but hear it for yourself...

Vintage Heavyweight Freestyle Footage
AY WHATUP,
Now THIS is a great hip hop find. This is underground club footage of a freestyle cypher with some of hip hop's heavyweights back in their hay day including DMX, Big Pun, Mos Def, Canibus, John Forte, and Mic Geronimo. Really good stuff in this...Big Pun spits 2 verses from Dream Shatterer and Canibus lays down a DIRTY LL Cool J diss. This is definitely worth a watch from anyone who appreciates good hip hop.

BANNED FROM TV
AY WHATUP!
Here's the video for a real classic song, "Banned From TV" by Noreaga, Big Pun, Nature, Jadakiss, Styles P, and Cam'ron. This is when they were all new MCs to the game on their respective rises to the top of hip hop. This is one of the biggest, hardest bangers of the 90's, slamming track. Here it is...

Wu Massacre is gonna be sick.
In case you haven't heard, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, and Method Man of the legendary hip hop giants Wu Tang Clan are releasing an album titled Wu Massacre, set to FINALLY drop on March 30th after a slew of failed release date attempts. This shit is bound to be a CLASSIC. These 3 are probably my favorite Wu members, so I'm shitting myself waiting for this thing.
